Salam !
You are welcome to Wirasat – A site that will record my exlporing trips to trace our roots. I am interested in the history of the Allahabad and its villages alongwith the folklores , myths, saints, people ,forts, tombs, heat & dust , Gulli & Danda and everything that is a part of history of Allahabad and collectively I call it i.e Hamari Tareekhi Wirasat.
This site is primarily created for and dedicated to the history of Allahabad but by Allahabad I do not mean the present geographical district rather the Old Subah of Allahabad that comprised of Allahabad & Kaushambi including the historical places of Kara – Manikpur ( now in Partapgarh) which have a shared socio-religious history ,common local dialect, deep rooted interwined marital relations criss crossing the Subah of Allahabad.
These places are mostly desolate now and bear the look of uprooted towns with traces of old Havelis, Tombs ,Forts and scores of other places of historical importance. I have been travelleing personally to all these places to locate and get the first hand account and experience the smell of the soil . This way I may be abel to dig out some history that is covered under the dust due to apathy of our five-star historians.

Besides this, our effort is to locate and re-unite those families that originated from here and are now found across the globe.

on this blog...first of All I whole heartedly congratulate you for taking up this mission of bringing up our Wirast of Pargana Chail to the fore in the form of a BLOG.It is our profound duty to make our current generation aware of the Wirasat ,what our forefathers were and which culture we blong to.During this age of Information revolution ,geographical boundaries are no barriers in spreading the word ,And every Pargana chaile can augment him/her knowledge about the area and about their own people and history.
I am very Happy about your visit to Kashiya Sadat and you are most welcome there.

Commendable job for giving us a post and a rendezvous which atleast gives some insight into our roots and the culture as to where we come from. I heard that you put in some real efforts to dig deeper into the past and would request you to mention some information, as listed down in those books for reference and to give a touch, making it more realistic.
